Today I went shopping at Old Chinatown and Little Tokyo in downtown LA. There was this little store in Chinatown Bamboo Plaza filled with Gundams & Macross & Evangelion models :) Needless to say, I felt like a hungry fat kid in a donuts shop. They carry alot of old/rare stuff that I've never seen before in other stores and they are usually cheaper than online stores after you add shipping. I wanted to buy like EVERYTHING lol, but I only bought a panel liner pen and clippers, both of which I was looking for online so I can get started on my WHITE GLINT! The lady behind the counter was very friendly and I highly recommend this store for all your gunpla needs. I just forgot what the store was called lol halp.

It's Christmas time at Darktrap's Base!

Yeah I know its June, but recently I just recieved QUITE a few packages in the mail. I got my progressive box cutter and went to work. Hehehe!
First I got a big package from Victoria's Secret (thank you very much!) I got a few cute tops, a white lacy babydoll with matching garters, and a the cutest polka dotted two piece swimsuit ever! It's too bad the bottom half is backordered... so I'll have to wait until the end of the month to wear it.

Then I got another package with some nylon stockings and hearts patterned pantyhose, which is something I've been looking for quite awhile now.

Then I got a big box from Yesstyle; they specialize in asian fashion. Alot of the cute outfits were bought from that site. But this time I bought alot of cosmetic related stuff, like facial cleanser, toner, moisturizer, and a set of brushes that folds out like a fan when you open the case. I also got sum funky stuff that I'm going to try, but... thats a secret :)

Then I got an even bigger box from HobbySearch. LOL guess what was inside? It's my favorite mecha from the Armored Core series: Line Arc's White Glint :D :D :D zomg i'm so excited!!!! I can't wait to put it all together!

Feels nice to be in LA again! The weather is so much warmer here than in the Bay Area. I can comfortably go about my day around the house while wearing absolutely nothing! Now I wait until the weather gets unbearably hot, and then I'll fly back to escape the heat. Anyways, enough about the weather.

OMG this video blows my mind! The video is in Chinese but its probably made in Taiwan or something. You don't have to watch the whole thing or even understand what they're saying, just fast forward to the part where they show the girl's faces. The first girls shows her face at 3:20. So basically, they take two average looking asian girls and put a little magic on only half of their face.

Its SHOCKING how much makeup and contacts can do.... turning average looking girls (by contemporary Asian standards) into seriously model materials. Currently I'm trying to learn how to apply makeup, but maybe I should also look into trying on those contacts that make your iris bigger, ya know, just for fun!

Actually I bought a pair of hair extensions. They are light blue, much like teh rei wig I used to wear a long time ago; I can't wear it anymore because my hair has grown too long to be covered up by that short little wig. I love the color and I'm still learning how to put it on in the right place so they show more and look better. Maybe one day I'll get a Miku wig :D

Today I had some free time and my mom's car, so I decided to visit the bank, deposit checks(thank you guys!), and update my name and mailing address. During my stay at Bank of America, I ran into the same teller that had hit on me like 6+ months ago. Apparently there is a little town in Colorado, called Trinidad, that is famous for its transgender population. I've never been there, but judging from the CNN video, it seems like a fairly open and friendly town. They made a documentary about the town and its traps; it focuses on the lives of three middle aged trans girls. Im in the new house, just settling in and stuff. after taking a long shower, i find that my facial moisturizer is empty :(
and my whole face feels like the atacoma desert.

It came in the mail today! I'm sooooo happy lol. I picked Cyndaquil as my starter pokemon and after my first gym battle, it already evolved into Quilava. Oh and the pokewalker is the cutest thing ever! Its why I bought the game instead of just playing the ROM on my DS.

When I was a little shota, like in elementary school, I used to play Pokemon on my gameboy color after school and battle with my childhood friends. Lol I was such a little pokemon nerd back then, I had an yellow colored gameboy with the yellow version, a poster with all the original pokemons, trading cards, and stuffed pikachu lol. ya ya ya I know I used to be dorky :D and I'm still kinda dorky lol. Lately I got this wise idea that I want to run a counterstrike source server. I dont have much experience with running and setting up the server; all the experiences I have are from a long long time ago when I used to be an admin on some other server using the mani plugin. But now since mani is no longer secure cuz they stopped updating it, I'll be using SourceMod.

The details are not 100% sure yet, but here is what Im looking for in the upcoming server:

Its been raining for the past few days now -_- I'm not sure if I like the rain; its so cold and wet... Anyways, my friends and I went to see From Paris With Love, cuz someone is a huge fan of John Travolta (she thinks travolta is so fuckin hot, i like jason statham more). I went to see it because I'm a big fan of Taken. Coolest Dad ever, kicks ass and chews bubblegum lololol. The movie was great with many awesome scenes and funny lines :P i just wish the main character was Wax, not the guy with the girlfriend. Need moar badass muthafucka, less emo boy.

currently downloading! im glad i got it on steam. all the other download sites are ddos'd to hell by people tying to download lol.

ok download is done, and i've gotten to level 7 :D playing as medic is so much fun! carry a big machine gun, heal yourself and others, defib the fragged players hehehe, you hardly die if you team up with another medics.

anyways, if you want to play with me, you can try adding me to the ingame friend list thingy. search for Bad Katie. i only play on this NFOserver, which is located in Los Angeles. lower the lag, the better! o btw, the 1911 pistol is awesome close range. shooting it from the hip, owning guys with fully automatics is alot of fun. lol

aka Gears of Shepard - Modern Specter 2

I've played about 7 hours so far and I'm having mixed feelings about the game.

Pros:
runs great with i7 920 + ati 5870 + 6gb of ram. locked at 60 frames, even in firefights.
headshots do more damage :D i love this one!
awesome story, its whats keeping me playing despite a lot of short comings
nice hacking puzzles and probe/scanning planets for resources
great audio/dialogues

Cons:
watered down console port casual trash
horrible mouse support, only low, med, and high settings
THERE IS NO CROUCH KEY - you're forced to be exposed or use shitty cover system
cover is cumbersome, not fluid and useful as in Gears
no blind fire from cover, no swat turns, no cover to cover
THERE IS NO INVENTORY MANAGEMENT - wtf i thought this was supposed to be a RPG....
whats a rpg without managing loot and weapons/armors and stuff
weapon customizations from the first game is gone - you cant equip longer barrels or larger caliber or accuracy mods
you cannot change armor or different assault rifles anywhere. there are weapon lockers in the levels and your ship, you can only customize weapons and armor then.
There is NO LOOT from killing enemies. Only from shops, containers, and already scattered on the floor.
Apparently now you can't see if different assult rifles does different damages anymore or if they hold different amount of rounds.
The new ammo system is retarded, you're CONSTANTLY on the lookout for more ammo, i'd rather deal with overheating instead. Apperently two years after the first game, all weapons lost their cooling ability. LOLWUT

Anyways, play this game for the story. if you're looking for a great RPG or shooter, look elsewhere.

my week away from LA (so far)

Yesterday my mom took me out shoe shopping because apparently she thinks i need more comfortable shoes lol. She kept pointing out really conservative and not very attractive for my age. and she disapproved of anything with stilettos on the bottom :( poor me. however she did help me pick out a few coats, cuz she says i always wear such skimpy clothes and i need more warm stuff in my wardobe.

oh and earlier this week, i went out to dinner with my best friend to this japanese shabu place. and i was wearing this skimpy teal halter top that showed ALOT of my back. long story short, i get home after dinner and when i took off my coat, mom was like You wore that? lololol she says its improper for me to show so much skin and that she has alot to teach me about being a proper girl like the rest of them. little does she know her new daughter is anything but proper and simliar to the rest of them. i like being me, and if i want to dress that way and give guys something cute to look at other than their girlfriends/wives, then i will. but she's getting used to the idea of having a new daughter! yayyayayayay! i just wish she called me katie more often.

Star Trap Online MMO

I just started playing Star Trek Online and so far, its been pretty fun lol. This is definitly a life killer, don't expect to go outside... there are borg cubes to kill. The game engine is very scaleable; I can run it at average speeds if i turn down almost all the settings on my parents' laptop, core duo with 2 gigs of ram and a Go 7600. I can't wait to go back to LA and play it on my i7 gaming rig, the difference in visual quality will be shocking. If Bad company 2 turns out to be very good, then I don't think i'll have time to play this star trek mmo. cuz i'm too much of a mmo noob. o well, can't be helped if i get ganked by a bunch of enemy ships.

one more thing, i'll be getting my ears pierced once i return to LA. I'm pretty nervious about it :(

i went to see avatar in 3d at the arclight cinerama dome. its the first time the dome is showing a 3d movie, but i thought the 3d glasses were just a gimmick. sure its a huge improvement over the red and blue paper glasses, but its heavy and stiff and u will have a sore face after almost 3 hours of wearing them. the biggest problem i had with them was during the indoor scenes, everything was blurry except the subject of that scene. it felt like the movie was forcing your eyes to see a certain area and u can only focus on that area. after getting over the blue furries and awkward mechs with open c-pits, the movie is actually really good. the facial expressions are the best in any cg film (screw ff13, too linear) at times i forgot they were animated models. i thought the villan was the most memorable character in the movie; big tough bald space marine, doesnt afraid of anything etc etc. i would definitly see it again in 2D. 3d was just a novelty

Anyways, I don't really like winter clothes. I miss wearing my short skirts and skimpy tops outside, not to mention the pervs checking me that are trying so hard to not be so obvious. Its cold outside, and I'd rather not go out as much as before. That means I have more time to spend in front of my computer lol. Currently CSI on Spike is my favorite thing to watch on tv. Although I do catch the occasional Star Trek Voyager, its pretty random. I used to watch Voyager alot when I was still a little shota in elementary school lol. And now I've started downloading the whole series and hopefully accidentally the whole thing. One thing I love doing is to find shows/movies that I've seen when I was little and could barely remember anything. Though the internet I was able to find stuff that I kind of remember, but not quite - like Macross, Cyber Formula, I used to have toys from those anime series lol. Pic related, its my newest toy. so i was at the security check point in the airport where this homeland security guy checks everyone's id. anyways everyone else only took a few seconds. and mine took extra long.

3d modeling final project

lulz here's my 3d modeling final. finished ahead of time. the requirement was to do anything you wanna do lol. I originally planned on just modeling just a plan old warthog... but then I felt like i should add more stuff to it, like a NOS tank (i know, its cancer)and different headlights and steering wheel etc etc. eventually it seems like this needed to be a completely different car, for teh track and not the battlefield. so i added sum cancer/rice front bumper, moar hood scoops, racing slicks, moar NOS, colored angel eyes in the front, and rice skyline lights in the back, a lambo rear end, sum rear diffusers, front canards, and sum rear wings from this anime i used to watch when i was a little boy (cyber formula). for the race-hog, i wasnt very serious about it... LOL. the warthog took me a couple of long ass days, the race-hog took me an afternoon :) yeah its sorta a joke, i hope it at least get a few chuckles out of you
